Glacier Point and Taft Point at Yosemite National Park

Free Photography E-Book
During this travel photography video we visit Yosemite National Park and photograph Glacier Point and Taft Point. Both locations offer incredible views and scenery.

At Glacier Point, we see the postcard shot overlooking Half Dome and Yosemite Valley.  The view from Glacier Point also gives us a look at the landmarks we will be hiking past as we head out into the back country of Yosemite National Park.

After we visit Glacier Point, we make a short drive and a short hike to reach Taft Point.  Taft Point offers a more dramatic view of the peaks around Yosemite National Park as there are no ledges at this location.  We walk right up to the edge and look 3,000 feet below.  We also see an incredible sight as we have an opportunity to see and photograph a man walking across a slack line between two ledges.

Finally, we make a short stop to take a few shots of the famous Tunnel View looking at Half Dome, Bridalveil Fall, and El Capitan.

Google Earth was used for the aerial maps.
